Passion….ballet and the performing arts have been a lifelong passion for Jeanne. For the past several years, she has looked for new ways to contribute to the world of dance. Her newest venture, Dancer.NYC offers an affordable line of custom designed classic dance wear for adults and children, professional costumes, dance accessories including dance bags, and creative dance themed designs for toddlers and little girls. 

Jeanne was born in New York City and raised on Long Island. From childhood through her young adult years, she trained with Andre and Leda Eglevsky, American Ballet Theatre and Summer Residency programs throughout the tri-state area. As a young child, Jeanne performed many children’s roles with the Eglevsky Ballet Company including the coveted role of Clara in ‘The Nutcracker’. She continued to perform with the Eglevsky Ballet Company in many of the big “tutu” ballets such as 'Swan Lake', 'Coppelia', 'Sleeping Beauty' and 'Cinderella'.

Jeanne attended Boston University and graduated with a degree in Finance and Marketing from the School of Management. While attending BU, Jeanne was President of the Dance Theatre Group and performed throughout the Boston area.  After graduating from Boston University Jeanne moved to New York City and began a business career in Sales & Marketing and later Finance. Her resume includes the hotel industry, manufacturing firms and 501(c)3 corporations .

 Jeanne’s professional dance career, extends beyond performing to teaching at Boston University, several well-known Fairfield County ballet schools, Thompson Exercise and many private students throughout the years. She continues to perform in the Fairfield County area. Most recently, she has performed in character roles with Connecticut Ballet and as a Star Dancer in Curtain Calls “Dancing with the Stars”.  Jeanne served as Secretary of the Board of Directors of Connecticut Ballet, President of the "Friends of Connecticut Ballet" and Treasurer and Chairman of the Board of Greenwich Ballet Academy. She has also been actively involved in the development efforts of her children's schools and extra-curricular activities.

Jeanne and her husband have five children, the youngest of whom is a student at the School of American Ballet and a child dancer with New York City Ballet.
